Solar Thermal = Hot Water + Space Heating
Solar Thermal Systems continue to be one of the most cost-effective technologies to improve the performance of buildings. Substantial Federal rebates and the relatively fast payback make Solar Thermal an attractive solution for residential and commercial projects. Recent technological developments, such as JTG Muir's Phoenix Solar system, include space heating and cooling with the addition of a downsized air handling unit. Radiant heating makes even more sense if cooling if not required.
