Rammed Earth House
Corte Madera, CA

Inspired by the Owner's love of rock & roll, the Guitar House incorporates both rammed earth and pise construction throughout, along with a large photovoltaic array to compensate for energy consumption. The house features dramatic curvilinear interiors and a spectacular view across the bay to San Francisco. Michael Heacock completed this project with Van Der Ryn Architects.
