Few architects are blessed to work in such a spectacular environment as Post Ranch at Big Sur. Michael Heacock and Van der Ryn Architects designed new employee housing to grace the pristine landscape on the eastern slope of the Post Ranch site. The stunningly beautiful original Inn buildings, designed by renowned local architect Mickey Muennig, meld with the landscape in an organic symphony. The new employee housing strives for a subtle organic coastal quality in harmony with the existing architecture and environment.
