Keohane Residence Corte Madera, CA
The design of the Keohane Residence began with the priority to save the award winning gardens. By designing efficient, well scaled spaces, the footprint of the new 2000 sf residence is almost identical to the former beach cottage. We employed numerous environmentally responsible materials, such as FSC Certified wood flooring and siding. Reclaimed timbers for framing and finishes came from Marin and the mill of a friend in Utah. High efficiency windows, daylighting, natural ventilation, and durable finishes characterize the home.
